A standalone read with a HEA. It is a very sexy read so be prepared for open bedroom door scenes. It is a bear shifter story. A young woman lawyer is trying a case in Dallas that is getting national attention. She needs a conviction to get a murderer put away and to further her career as an attorney. when things don't go her way she is left dealing with a very unreasonable public as well as her former boss and her overbearing family. She flees Dallas for the mountains in Montana to get away from all the media and bad press. None of it being her fault.She arrives at the B&B after driving straight through. She is exhausted and emotionally drained as she arrives and is the only guest at the B&B. She immediately meets one of the two remaining single brothers. He is one gorgeous, big and sexy cowboy. He is nothing like the men she usually dates and she finds herself very attracted to him. They get it on pretty quick. This is a quick read but a lot happens to bring these two together. It seems as if they are fated to be together until his bear shows up.
This is a good read. Sad in a few parts but funny in others and very entertaining. I definitely recommend it. He is one sexy bear!!

This story needed to be developed a little more. The pace of the relationship unfolded too fast and could have used more development. It all seemed too rushed.
All the stories in this series have been standalone stories done with great care, talent and are all very sweet. I love the entire series and without exception I found all the characters to be strong, independent and all were able to considered as believable and viable.
While some might think that Abby showed a weakness by running to the town in Yellowstone, I thought she had a core of steel that would allow her to regroup and fight another day. Some times the better part of valor is to retreat and regroup. I also loved that Abby's fated mate was Cody the one I would least have liked to be mated to. And yet, when he meets her all the things I didn't like about him melted away in the heat of sincere need to love and protect her.
I think you will really like this one.
I love werebears especially the Grant brothers and their fated mates. As they continue to make fun of Drew, another grizzly bites the dust. It took awhile but Cody finally listened to his bear. It was amazing that her parents finally let her go. You will have to read the book to find out what finally happened to the pedophile. Abby was too good to be enslaved by the bar. So now that I got my fix with reading about Cody, I anxiously await what will happen with Drew's mail order bride. You know Madison will have a part to play in that scenario. Maybe she will finally have the cub. So do get this book now! You will enjoy Abby and Cody's story!
An acquittal, news reports everywhere, a Mayor who was more concerned with politics than showing love to his daughter. Where is there to go when you lose a high profile Case? Simple you get into your car, with no plan in mind, no clothes except the ones on now (because reports are set up outside of your home) and you end up at Curvy Bear Ranch. I enjoyed this book. Ugh, Abby's mom! At least Abby finally took control of her life. Abby and Cody made me laugh. But what ever happened to the bad guy? I'm not telling, No cliffhangers.
Liked story. Hero was kind, gentle. Heroine smart in some ways dumb in others.
Didn’t really believe she lost case, seemed to lead that the jury was threatened or bribed to call off, no way after an confession and evidence would it be anything but mistrial, hung jury or guilty. Also wouldn’t have been fired.

Can Abby let go of the trial and get her parents to see she doesn't want to be an attorney anymore and follow her own dreams? I highly recommend this book and series
